Computer Services

1. Syncing and Backing Up

Many of you have more than one computer (a laptop, a desktop – maybe a Blackberry, iPhone, iPod or other snazzy device). How do you sync up all of these? How are you backing up your important email and documents?

2. Music / Video / Pictures

I didn’t put this in my last newsletter but I’ve spent lots of time with many clients getting their media files into order. Are you using iTunes and can’t find your music? Do you want to learn how to program music lists and/or burn CDs of “mix tapes” for special occasions? Are there TV shows or films, audiobooks,  you’d like to share? I do it all the time.

3. Your Working Machine

If you rely on your computer for your work, no doubt there are software programs you use day in and day out.. Do you need help with a new version of Word, Excel, or Outlook? Are you having trouble finding things with Windows 7? Computers and programs are being updated all the time and it’s hard to keep familiar with it all. I’ve been doing a fair amount of training with clients who’ve had to move to a new version of Office or Windows. Often because they bought a new computer and it came with all this on it.
